UNLV survived a scare from Idaho State, rallying for a 38-31 victory behind Jai'Den Thomas's three rushing touchdowns, including explosive runs of 39 and 70 yards. The Bengals showed tremendous fight, taking an early 10-0 lead and later going ahead 31-24 in the fourth quarter on Dason Brooks' second touchdown. The Rebels responded with two fourth-quarter scores, including Alex Orji's game-winning 11-yard touchdown run with 8:51 remaining to secure the win at Allegiant Stadium.
