Jacksonville State claimed a hard-fought 17-13 victory over Troy in the Cramton Bowl. After jumping out to an early lead on Caden Creel's 22-yard TD pass to Brock Rechsteiner, the Gamecocks found themselves trailing 13-7 at halftime following a Troy fumble return touchdown and two Renfroe field goals. The Gamecocks mounted a comeback with Rippa's 51-yard field goal in the third quarter before Andrew Paul punched in the game-winning touchdown with 10:06 remaining in the fourth.
