Fresno State dominated the Battle for the Valley with a convincing 41-14 victory over San Jose State at CEFCU Stadium. The Bulldogs jumped out to a 19-7 halftime lead behind quarterback E.J. Warner, who connected twice with Josiah Freeman for touchdowns. Despite a defensive spark from the Spartans' Jordan Pollard with a 58-yard pick-six, Fresno State pulled away in the second half as kicker Dylan Lynch contributed three field goals and Elijah Gilliam added two late rushing touchdowns.
