Appalachian State held off a late Lindenwood challenge to secure a 20-13 victory at Kidd Brewer Stadium. The Mountaineers jumped out to a quick 14-0 lead in the first quarter behind two touchdown passes from AJ Swann, including a 72-yard strike to Dalton Stroman. The Lions battled back with quarterback Nate Glantz accounting for both Lindenwood touchdowns, but two second-half field goals from Dominic De Freitas proved to be the difference for App State.
