UCF rallied late to defeat Jacksonville State 17-10 in a dramatic season opener at the Bounce House. After a field goal-only first half, the Gamecocks grabbed a 10-3 lead on Andrew Paul's 10-yard touchdown run early in the fourth quarter. The Knights responded with Tayven Jackson throwing two clutch touchdown passes in the final period, including the game-winner to DJ Black with just 1:03 remaining to secure the victory.
