UTEP rolled to a commanding 42-17 victory over UT Martin behind quarterback Malachi Nelson's four touchdown passes, including two to Ashten Emory. The Miners broke open a 7-7 tie with a 21-point second quarter explosion, highlighted by Hahsaun Wilson's electric 94-yard touchdown run. Nelson's big-play ability was on full display with touchdown strikes of 48 and 74 yards as UTEP dominated the Skyhawks at the Sun Bowl.
