Louisiana-Monroe held off a late UTEP comeback attempt to secure a 31-25 road victory at the Sun Bowl. The Warhawks built a commanding 31-7 lead behind quarterback Aidan Armenta's two touchdown passes and rushing scores from Braylon McReynolds and Hunter Herring. UTEP's Malachi Nelson nearly orchestrated a fourth-quarter miracle, connecting with Wondame Davis Jr. for two touchdown passes in the final frame, but the Miners' rally ultimately fell short.
