Liberty dominated from start to finish in a 19-8 road win over UTEP at the Sun Bowl. The Flames jumped out to a 7-0 lead on Ethan Vasko's 2-yard touchdown run and steadily built their advantage behind kicker Jay Billingsley's impressive four field goals, including a booming 50-yarder. The Miners finally found the end zone late when Skyler Locklear scored on a 13-yard run, followed by a successful two-point conversion, but it was too little too late.
