The Jaguars built a 28-14 halftime lead behind Bishop Davenport's two touchdown passes and rushing score, but watched as the Panthers stormed back with 17 unanswered points to take a 31-28 fourth-quarter advantage. Kentrel Bullock played hero for South Alabama, scoring his second rushing touchdown with just 1:49 remaining to secure the road victory after the teams exchanged five lead changes throughout the contest.
