Recap
Prairie View A&M pulled off a stunning upset in the First Four, downing No. 16 seed Lehigh 67-55 at a neutral site. The Panthers seized control with a devastating 10-2 run midway through the second half that pushed their lead to 13—their largest advantage of the game. Lehigh fought back down the stretch, with Hank Alvey's dunk with 46 seconds left cutting it to 53-64, but Prairie View held firm. The Mountain Hawks never found their rhythm offensively, plagued by a 27-play scoring drought in the second half. Despite a late layup from Joshua Ingram with eight seconds remaining, it wasn't enough to complete the comeback. Cory Wells and Hassane Diallo sealed it with crucial free throws in the final moments as Prairie View earned their tournament berth, 67-55.
