Mount St. Mary’s Defensive Engine and Rebounding Guard
Mychal Kearse built his value at Mount St. Mary’s as a hard-nosed, two-way guard who defended, rebounded, and filled the box score; in the 2006-07 season, he averaged 11.5 points and a team-high 5.9 rebounds while earning NEC Co-Defensive Player of the Year honors. He was also known for elite motor and versatility, becoming the first Mount player to lead the team in rebounding four straight seasons and returning from ACL surgery in time to impact the lineup again. If your team wants a gritty, glue-guy competitor, he fits.
