A Stake is a fan’s commitment of funds in pursuit of an athlete. As more fans Stake a given athlete, the pool of money grows, enticing them to attend the fans’ school of choice. Staking reaches its full power when fanbases work together to raise funds for a specific athlete.

Browse Fanstake for all current college players and top high-school recruits, or do your own research to find the perfect player to take your team to the next level.

Even before a player enters the transfer portal, you can contribute to any athlete's transfer Stakes.

Stake an active player on your team's roster to stay at their existing school for the upcoming season.

Stake the top college prospects (high school athletes) to sign with the college of your choice.

We know everyone has their favorite team, so after setup, your homepage will feature athletes from your current team's roster. "Protect" is usually the best place to start.

Explore top trending athletes.

We keep an eye on who’s on top of the charts, and who you should be aware of. These sections change, and will look at the top trending athletes across multiple sports and positions.

Already know you want to Stake your favorite offensive lineman?

Use the search bar to find athletes directly, and get to Staking them even quicker.

Stake your athlete

Choose any dollar amount, then stake a current player, transfer, or recruit to play for your selected team next season.  

Once you’ve placed your stake, we'd recommend sharing with others. The more stakes, the more influence!

Once you’ve placed your stake, it’s decision time for your athlete.  The ball is now in their court, so hang tight!

The athlete selects your school

Congratulations! You’ve helped to recruit top talent for next season’s team. Your stake converts into an NIL endorsement offer for your athlete.

The athlete selects a different school.

No worries, this is the recruiting game. The funds you committed are credited back to your account. There's always another opportunity, so keep an eye out for your roster’s next star.
