Ava Thelen brings lineup flexibility, pop, and grit to Buffalo’s infield
In the 2025 season, Ava Thelen appeared in 34 games with 29 starts for Buffalo and produced 10 hits, 15 RBIs, two doubles, a triple, and a home run, showing useful gap-to-gap power and run production from a versatile corner/INF role. She also brings strong defensive flexibility, which makes her a practical fit for teams that value matchup-driven lineup and infield options. Thelen’s high school resume — including a .571 batting average season, a .604 OBP, and championship experience with a national travel team — suggests a player with upside, competitiveness, and no-nonsense edge.
