Andrew Steinhaus brings swing-and-miss stuff and big-moment moxie to Radford’s rotation
In the 2026 season, Andrew Steinhaus has shown he can miss bats and handle pressure, including a five-inning, seven-strikeout outing against Bucknell and a strong six-inning, five-strikeout start in Radford’s opening series win over Iona. He’s a right-handed arm with real competitiveness—last spring he even worked out of the bullpen when needed and earned Big South Relief Pitcher of the Week honors after a 6.1-inning, scoreless rescue job. The tradeoff is command and run prevention can wobble at times, but the upside is a durable, attack-minded pitcher who fits teams wanting toughness and strikeout ability.
