From Bench Guard to D-III Head Coach at Texas Lutheran
Austin Falke, once a freshman guard for Stephen F. Austin Lumberjacks in the 2007-08 season (1.2 PPG, 0.4 RPG, 34.8 FG%), has evolved into a proven coach; now in his third year (2024-25) as Texas Lutheran head coach after assisting from 2014-22 to four NCAA Tournaments and SCAC titles, Falke posted a 16-34 record in his first two seasons but notched an early upset win over No. 15 UMHB in 2023. His differentiator is building team culture through life lessons—ideal for programs valuing development over instant wins.
