Developmental big man for GW with limited current production
Matija Debevec is a 6-foot-11 center for George Washington whose current statistical footprint is minimal, so the real story is his long-term size/role upside rather than box-score production. In the 2026 season, ESPN listed him with 7 games played and just 0.6 minutes per game, with 0.3 rebounds and 0.1 blocks per game, which suggests a low-usage reserve role[1]. He looks like a projectable rim-size piece for a coach who values interior depth, but there isn’t enough public evidence yet to call him a proven impact contributor[1][2].
