Explosive Nickel DB with Ball Skills, Now Chiefs Rookie After Stellar 2025 Oregon Campaign
Jadon Canady, a 5'10" 181-lb dynamic STAR nickel from Oregon (after Tulane and Ole Miss stints), exploded in 2025 with 39 tackles, 2 INTs (vs. USC/Washington), 6 PBUs, and a FF in the CFP semifinal vs. Indiana—earning PFF's #10 CB grade nationally and All-Big Ten honors. A Florida HS ballhawk (10 INTs senior year) and track speedster, he overcame a 2022 ACL tear limiting 2023 play; his twitched-up coverage and run fits shine, though size limits block shedding. Ideal slot fit for nickel-heavy defenses seeking playmakers.
