Kare Lyles brings veteran QB poise, but he is not currently on Jackson State’s active 2026 roster
Kare Lyles is best known as a well-traveled, experienced quarterback with real game seasoning, but Jackson State’s current roster and player page do not show active 2026 team stats for him[2][12]. His differentiators are maturity, adaptability, and a history of taking snaps in multiple systems, which can matter more than raw box-score numbers when a team needs stability and leadership[1][4][10]. He looks like a fit for programs valuing a cerebral, seasoned passer over a pure dual-threat splash playmaker, though his current Jackson State status appears outdated rather than active[2][12].
