McNeese State Forward with Proven Rebounding Prowess from 2006-07 Era
Jessica Hooker, a forward for the McNeese State Cowgirls, averaged 7.0 points and a team-leading 5.0 rebounds per game in the 2006-07 season across 22 appearances (17 starts), showcasing her tenacity on the glass despite shooting 63.5% from the free-throw line; her physicality and board-crashing intensity make her a classic blue-collar frontcourt differentiator, though an injury-redshirted 2007-08 campaign highlights durability risks—ideal for teams needing gritty rebounders but not primary scorers.
