Damaria Franklin brings proven scoring punch and veteran guard toughness to Memphis
Franklin is a 6'3" guard whose calling card is **shot-making and production**: at UIC in 2021-22 he led the team in scoring at 17.8 points per game and added 6.9 rebounds, then at Memphis in 2022-23 he scored 21 points in his debut and later posted a career-high 25 against Eastern Illinois.[3][2] His profile suggests a **versatile, physical backcourt piece** who can score at multiple levels and help on the glass, while his background hints at a competitive, basketball-first mentality.[1][4]
