High-usage Jayhawk guard known for toughness, steals, and clutch plays
Aquanita Burras was a reliable Kansas backcourt contributor whose value went beyond scoring: as a sophomore transfer she earned Holiday Inn Jayhawk Classic MVP honors, and Kansas cited her as a top-3 team scorer at 10.1 points per game with 5.0 rebounds and 3.1 assists in the 2004-05 season. She also delivered in key moments, including a late steal-and-layup that sealed a win over Missouri, which points to a guard who plays with edge, poise, and defensive instincts. She looks like a fit for teams needing a physical, do-it-all guard who can impact winning without needing the ball constantly.[1][2][3]
