Greg Nelson Jr. brings compact guard toughness and perimeter touch to San Diego
Greg Nelson Jr. is a 6-foot guard for San Diego whose profile points to a compact, scoring-minded backcourt player with midrange craft, quick finishing ability, and perimeter touch. He was a First Team All-San Diego County selection and team MVP at Carlsbad High, where he averaged 20 points per game, which signals real shot-making confidence and on-ball assertiveness. The fit looks best for a team that values pace, toughness, and a guard who can create without needing the ball glued to his hands.
