Sid Evans brings veteran edge-setting toughness to JMU’s front seven
Sid Evans is a 2026 redshirt senior defensive end for James Madison, listed at 6-foot-1 and 260 pounds, giving the Dukes a mature, compact, physical presence on the edge[1]. What stands out most is the veteran profile: he’s experienced, sturdy against the run, and fits the kind of relentless, no-drift defensive identity coaches love in a rotational DE. If a team wants a dependable, hard-nosed defender who plays with grit more than flash, Evans looks like a strong fit[1].
