Deatrich Wise Jr. brings SEC-tested pass-rush juice and veteran edge
Wise was a productive, high-motor defensive lineman at Arkansas, finishing his college career in the 2023 season with 112 tackles, 23 tackles for loss, and 16.5 sacks, while also forcing four fumbles and showing real burst off the edge. He stood out for his size, violence at the point of attack, and knack for timely disruption, especially against SEC competition. If you want a physical, relentless DL who can create negative plays and bring leadership, Wise fits the bill; the main concern is that his best value comes as a pure edge disruptor, not a wide-ranging interior chess piece.
