Ethan Jimenez brings freshman two-way upside to Davidson
Jimenez is a 6-foot-1, 205-pound freshman first baseman/right-hander who has already flashed useful contact and matchup value for Davidson in 2026, including a .333 batting average and a 4-for-0 hits-to-strikeouts line in the Wildcats’ cumulative stats. His appeal is the two-way profile: he gives the roster flexibility, a right-handed bat, and the kind of versatile depth coaches love when they need an extra bat or arm. If you want a low-drama, high-motor glue guy with development runway, he’s worth a close look.
