Micah Powell brings reliable depth and special-teams value to Vanderbilt's backfield
Micah Powell projects as a depth-and-utility piece rather than a headline-grabbing feature back, with Vanderbilt’s historical roster notes showing a player who contributed on special teams, handled limited carries efficiently, and was trusted in coverage units. His appeal is versatility, toughness, and willingness to do the dirty work that coaches value when building a functional rotation. The main question is not flash, but fit: he looks best for a team that wants a physical, assignment-sound back who can help on special teams and maximize limited touches.
