veteran UNCW guard with a steady, high-IQ backcourt game
Barron Thelmon was a 6-foot-1 guard at UNCW who brought a ball-handling first, senior-level presence, and enough scoring touch to average 9.0 points per game in his college career, with the program noting his role in a 37-win stretch and postseason trips in the 2000–01 era.[2][7] He looks like the kind of guard teams trust because he organizes offense, competes with a high motor, and fits a winning culture—more reliable floor general than flashy stat-sheet hunter.[1][6]
