Dakar Edwards brings proven backfield disruption to Florida A&M
Edwards is a high-motor defensive lineman with a track record of production: in the 2022 season at Stony Brook, he played in 10 games, made 30 tackles, ranked second on the team with 7.0 tackles for loss, and ranked third with 3.0 sacks, plus a forced fumble against Maine.[1] He also showed steady consistency in the 2021 season with 33 tackles and 4.0 tackles for loss across nine games.[1] That profile suggests a disruptive, reliable interior piece who can pressure the backfield and fit a physical front.
