Dereon Carr is a sturdy, assignment-sound Hampton DB with real starting experience
Carr is a 6'0", 201-pound defensive back who saw action in all 10 games for Hampton and made three starts, finishing the 2024 season with 30 tackles, which points to a player trusted to stay on the field and handle a meaningful role in the secondary.[2][3] His value is in reliability, physicality, and experience rather than splashy stat production, making him the kind of DB who can help a team that wants a steady, versatile piece with proven game reps.[2][3]
