Chance Mallory is Virginia’s hometown floor general with real two-way juice
Mallory is coming off a strong 2025-26 freshman season for Virginia, averaging 9.3 points, 3.7 rebounds, 3.4 assists and 1.6 steals in 36 games while ranking second in the ACC with a 3.0 assist-to-turnover ratio. He brings tough, steady point-guard play, impacts the game defensively, and has the poise of a player who already looks comfortable carrying real responsibility. At 5-foot-10, he’s not a rim-raider, but he is a smart fit if you want a connected, high-IQ guard who can organize an offense and compete every possession.
