Desmund Lighten brings edge-setting potential to McNeese’s defensive front
Lighten is the kind of defensive end worth tracking if you want length, effort, and disrupt-the-play energy off the edge; public team-level stats for McNeese don’t provide a clean snapshot of his individual production, so the best read is that his value is more about role fit, motor, and trench flexibility than flashy box-score numbers. For a team looking for a developmental DE who can buy into a physical, assignment-driven front and raise the intensity of a rotation, he profiles as a practical fit rather than a headline-grabbing one.
