UCLA’s Intense, Data-Driven DB with Elite Coverage Instincts
Zack Huffstutter, a redshirt freshman DB for the UCLA Bruins in the 2019 season, stands out for his relentless intensity, sharp coverage instincts, and data-driven approach to film study. Though he didn’t record major stats due to limited playing time, coaches highlight his personality traits—disciplined, coachable, and fiercely competitive—as key differentiators. His injury history is clean, and his intensity level on the field is consistently high, making him a strong fit for teams valuing mental toughness and coverage reliability. While not a stat leader, Huffstutter’s differentiators make him a promising developmental prospect with high upside.
