Freshman Idaho State lineman Brennan Mesa brings size and upside to the Bengals
Brennan Mesa enters the 2026 season as a freshman offensive lineman at Idaho State, listed at 6-foot-4 and 287 pounds, giving the Bengals a sturdy developmental piece up front. He was signed out of South Albany High School and is already on the active roster, but there’s no public game-log or stat-leader profile yet to judge production. The draw here is projection: he has the frame to add more power, the position value is obvious, and Idaho State clearly sees long-term line help. If you want a young trench player with room to grow, Mesa is the kind of bet worth making.
