veteran Jackson State back who brings burst, kick-return juice, and proven production
Rakeem Sims is a **former Jackson State running back** whose value came from versatility and big-play ability, including kickoff return production and steady scoring across multiple seasons at JSU. ESPN’s career log shows he contributed as a runner and returner from 2011-2014, with kickoff returns of 6 for 132 yards in 2012 and 5 for 123 yards in 2013, plus consistent scoring output each year[1]. His differentiator is *all-purpose usefulness*: he can help in space, flip field position, and provide experience, making him more of a dependable complementary weapon than a one-dimensional back[1].
