the assist-first ORU guard with a proven floor-general edge
In the 2013 season, David Mason showed real point-guard poise for Oral Roberts, most notably posting 10 assists and 5 rebounds in a win over Dallas Baptist, which still stands out as a clear snapshot of his playmaking value. He’s the type of guard who elevates an offense with unselfishness, composure, and feel rather than empty volume, and his background as a former manager-turned-player adds a little underdog grit. If you want a steady connector who can organize an offense and keep teammates involved, he’s a fit; if you need a high-usage scorer, this isn’t that profile.
