Blake Hager gives Morehead State a live-arm, innings-eating righty with upside
Blake Hager is a 6-foot-3 right-handed pitcher for Morehead State who has flashed starter utility and bullpen flexibility, including a 2026 stretch where he logged 2.2 innings with a 6.75 ERA and 4 walks, plus a 2025 season in which he worked 10.1 innings with 13 strikeouts and 8 walks. He’s the kind of arm coaches like because he’s been trusted in both tight games and longer outings, even if command has been the swing skill. The vibe: projectable, competitive, and still building consistency—worth a look if your staff wants a strike-thrower with size and upside.
