Cameron Barrett brings veteran, all-around linebacker value to Morehead State
Barrett profiles as a high-floor **linebacker** who combines production with reliability: in 2021 he logged **53 tackles, 3 interceptions and 5 pass breakups**, and later played all 12 games with **29 tackles and 4 tackles for loss** in a season where he ranked second on the team in sacks. He also earned **Academic All-District** recognition twice, which points to the kind of disciplined, detail-oriented player coaches tend to trust. For a team needing a smart, steady defender with coverage range and leadership upside, he’s a strong fit rather than a flashy one.
