Ethan Copeland brings versatile, high-IQ DB depth after a solid 2022 rotation role at UNI
In the 2022 season at Northern Iowa, Ethan Copeland appeared in 6 games and recorded 2 tackles as a defensive back, giving the Panthers a developmental piece with game-day experience and academic reliability (MVFC Honor Roll). His value is less about splashy stat lines and more about trust: he’s a physically prepared, adaptable defensive back who has already shown he can earn snaps in a competitive FCS program. For a team looking for a dependable, coachable DB with room to grow, Copeland fits as a depth-and-development add.
