Experienced Sam Houston linebacker with steady, roster-proven value
Hart enters the 2026 Sam Houston roster as a redshirt senior linebacker, bringing mature depth and a trusted presence to the Bearkats’ defense[1][7]. Listed at 6'2" and 230 pounds, he profiles as a physical, downhill defender who fits best in a system that values toughness, assignment discipline, and veteran reliability over flash[2][7]. The standout here is the experience factor: he’s a proven college-body LB with the kind of frame and maturity that usually earns snaps, special-teams value, and locker-room respect. If a team needs instant-ready linebacker depth, Hart looks like a solid, no-drama fit[1][2].
