veteran UC Davis anchor with proven Big Sky pedigree
Connor Pettek is the kind of offensive lineman coaches trust when the game gets grown-man ugly: a longtime UC Davis center with 35 career starts, multiple All-Big Sky honors, and a reputation as the voice of the line. In the 2022 season, he helped anchor an offense that averaged 178.5 rushing yards and 407 total yards per game, while the line allowed the 29th-fewest sacks in FCS regular-season play. His value goes beyond stats—he’s been praised as a communicator and tone-setter, which makes him a strong fit for teams that want poise, consistency, and leadership up front.
