a former Michigan State long snapper, not a current Spartan roster player
Andrew Petterson is best known as a former Michigan State long snapper from the 2002-03 era, so he is not a current 2026 roster fit for the Spartans[3][12]. The most relevant current MSU long-snapper competition instead appears to feature Nick Duzansky and Trey Serauskis on the 2026 depth chart[14][15]. If you are evaluating special-teams fit, Petterson’s value today is historical context only, not present-day performance or rankings, and there is no current Michigan State player profile tied to that name in the available roster sources[10][14].
