Valparaiso’s Dawn Vander Meer: a guard on a Beacons team trending competitive in MVC play
Dawn Vander Meer is a Valparaiso guard to watch because the Beacons finished the 2025-26 season 13-19 and showed enough toughness to stay in close games in the MVC, including a one-point win over Indiana State, but the publicly available team stats in the provided sources do not break out her individual production. [1][2] Without verified player-level numbers here, the main reason to care is fit: a guard on a program that competes hard and plays through pressure can be valuable if you want backcourt composure, defensive effort, and a team-first role player rather than a stat-stuffer.
