Montgomery brings glass-cleaning grit and veteran forward savvy
Damequia Montgomery’s profile is built on rebounding, toughness, and doing the dirty work for Texas A&M-Corpus Christi. In her 2011-12 season, she played all 29 games and averaged 3.6 points and 4.7 rebounds in 16.9 minutes per game, with early-season reports calling her “a force on the glass.” That kind of presence matters: she looks like a fit for a team that needs physicality, effort, and reliable frontcourt minutes rather than flashy scoring.
