Rodney Thomas brings high-upside depth and nasty trench energy to South Alabama
Rodney Thomas is a defensive lineman to watch because South Alabama’s roster and recruiting coverage show him as a 6-foot-4, 275-pound DL addition with the size to hold the point and the frame to grow into more disruptive snaps[3]. At the college level, there isn’t enough public production available yet to hang a stat-heavy label on him, but that makes the fit question simpler: if you want length, power, and development runway over instant box-score flash, he’s the kind of lineman who can earn his way into a rotation fast.
