steady, defensive-minded veteran guard for Mississippi Valley State
Karmethia Mazique is a former Mississippi Valley State guard whose profile shows a reliable playmaking/rebounding backcourt player rather than a volume scorer; in her college career, she averaged 5.9 points, 2.4 rebounds, and 3.6 assists across 56 games. In the 2006-07 season, she had games like a 12-point outing in the GSU Invitational and a 5-rebound, 2-assist effort against Kansas State, suggesting a gritty, all-around contributor who could fill gaps and keep the offense moving. She’s the kind of guard coaches trust for toughness, distribution, and competitive energy.
