proven Chattanooga DB with playmaking pedigree
Corey Shields is a Chattanooga defensive back with a documented knack for making disruptive plays, including 65 tackles, two quarterback hurries and two fumble recoveries in his college career, one returned 55 yards for a touchdown. His value is in his physical, opportunistic style: he flashes as a tackler, can create turnovers, and has shown he can turn defense into momentum in a hurry. For a team, that profile fits a DB who can help on special situations and bring energy, urgency and ball production rather than just steady coverage work.
