a bruising, efficient two-way forward who made her mark at Monmouth
Alexa Middleton was a rugged 6-2 forward for Monmouth who, in the 2019-20 season, averaged 9.3 points, 8.1 rebounds, and 32 blocks while shooting .478 from the field and earning MAAC All-Tournament Team honors. She stood out as a reliable interior finisher, a rebounder with real bite, and a defender who altered shots without needing the ball to be featured. For a team needing toughness, boards, and frontcourt stability, she fits like a glove; for a stat-only shopper, her real value was the energy, physicality, and steady presence she brought every night.
