Hampton Tanner brings veteran size and quiet trench toughness to Georgetown’s OL
In the 2024 season, Hampton Tanner was a 6-foot-3, 276-pound senior offensive lineman for Georgetown, and the Hoyas’ line was second in the league with 16 sacks allowed while helping the run game average 144.3 yards per game and 4.2 yards per carry.[1] Georgetown’s staff described him as a tough addition who fit the room’s connected, unit-first identity, which is exactly what you want from an interior anchor.[6][8] He’s a good fit for a team that values reliability, communication, and physicality over flash—one of those linemen who makes the whole operation look calmer.
