Gabrielle Carr brings speed, versatility, and junior-college polish to Alcorn State’s outfield
Gabrielle Carr, a junior outfielder from McComb, Miss., joined Alcorn State after Southwest Mississippi CC, where she showed steady production and lineup value; in the 2024 season at Southwest, she appeared in 38 games and hit .233 with 1 home run, 4 doubles, 5 RBIs, and 10 runs scored[12]. Her 2026 Alcorn State stat line is still limited, but she’s listed on the roster as an outfielder and has already contributed at least one run this season[2][3]. The selling point is the floor: she brings experience, defensive flexibility, and a development-minded profile that can fit a team needing dependable depth more than headline-grabbing flash[3][4].
