Ella Berlage is giving SDSU a steady, high-contact spark in the infield
In the 2026 season, South Dakota State freshman/sophomore infielder Ella Berlage has been a reliable everyday bat and a run-producing presence, hitting .264 with 43 hits, 20 RBI, and 9 doubles while starting all 57 games[7][12]. She’s shown real clutch pop too, with multiple key extra-base hits and home runs, and her profile suggests a tough, durable right-side infielder who has earned trust quickly by starting every game[10][11].
